The Education and Training Committee supports the professional development of Arkansas code officials by identifying, developing, and promoting quality educational and training opportunities. The committee works to ensure members have access to relevant, up-to-date instruction on code changes, best practices, and emerging issues in the field.
Responsibilities include assisting with the planning of training events, workshops, and conferences; supporting continuing education initiatives; and collaborating with instructors, industry partners, and organizations to enhance learning opportunities. The committee also helps evaluate training needs and provides recommendations to support consistent and effective code enforcement across the state.
Members of the Education and Training Committee play an important role in strengthening knowledge, skills, and professionalism within the organization and throughout the code enforcement community in Arkansas.
