About ICC Code Officials of Arkansas Chapter

The Code Officials of Arkansas exists to promote the adoption, understanding, and uniform enforcement of the building codes, support safe building practices, and provide guidance, technical information, and code interpretation to enforcement officials. The organization keeps members informed on code-related issues, assists with administration of building laws, furthers the objectives of the International Code Council, and manages property and internal affairs as needed to advance its mission in accordance with Arkansas Non-Profit laws.

To promote the adoption, uniform application, and enforcement of the International Codes® and related supplements; to study and advance building safety principles.

To support and advise code enforcement officials; to provide members with code interpretation, technical assistance, and updates on relevant local, state, and national matters; to further the objectives of the International Code Council.

To conduct any lawful activities, including the acquisition and management of property, necessary or incidental to achieving these purposes in compliance with the Arkansas Non-Profit Act.
